1. Scope
This policy applies to the platform fees charged by ClearCorridor Technology (Pty) Ltd (“ClearCorridor”, “we”) for access to and use of the ClearCorridor platform. It does not apply to amounts payable between platform users for freight services. ClearCorridor does not receive, hold or transmit those amounts, which are invoiced and settled directly between the parties.
2. Nature of the service
ClearCorridor provides a digital, business-to-business compliance and carrier-matching platform. The service is supplied electronically; there are no physical goods, and no shipping or physical delivery is involved.
3. Service provision and delivery
Access to the platform is provisioned electronically and is made available immediately on successful payment of the activation fee and completion of admission. A platform subscription provides continued access for the period for which it is paid. There is no delivery lead time beyond the electronic provisioning described here.
4. Fees
ClearCorridor’s fees, all charged in South African Rand, comprise: (a) a once-off account activation fee; (b) a monthly platform subscription, offered in tiers; and (c) per-engagement platform fees, charged when an engagement is contracted and again on verified proof of delivery. The full fee schedule is presented to every applicant during the application, before any amount is payable.
5. Refunds
The platform is a continuously available digital service, billed in advance or on the occurrence of defined events. Fees are therefore not refundable once the corresponding service or billing period has been provided or has commenced. In particular: the activation fee is non-refundable once the account has been activated; subscription fees are non-refundable, and a member who cancels retains access for the remainder of the period already paid for (see clause 6); and per-engagement fees are non-refundable once the engagement event giving rise to them has occurred. We do not provide pro-rata refunds.
6. Cancellation and exit by notice
A member may close its account, downgrade its subscription tier, or remove a vehicle or driver at any time through its portal. Any such change takes effect on a notice basis. A request made on or before the 15th day of a calendar month (South African Standard Time) takes effect at the end of that month; a request made after the 15th takes effect at the end of the following month. Fees are charged through to the effective date, and no pro-rata refund is given for the unused part of any period. An account cannot be closed while it has live engagements, open proofs of delivery, or unresolved disputes; these must be concluded first.
7. Billing corrections
This policy concerns refunds for the service itself. Where we have charged an amount in genuine error, for example a duplicate charge, we will correct it by refund or credit on request.
8. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
